Welcome to STRICTLY TEENS, the web home of Tiverton Library’s youth services department. Take a look around – there are links to teen programs and events, homework help, volunteer opportunities, latest additions to our collections of books, movies and music, and links to other sites of interest.
This site isn’t finished—it never will be. Like the collections in our space at Essex and Union, this space will constantly change and grow. That’s where you come in. We designed this site as a blog so you can contribute to it. Share your time, talent and opinions. Tell us what you like and don’t like. Recommend a great book, movie, album or game, or tell us what you didn’t like about one.
You can also follow us on Facebook to keep on top of announcements and new blog posts, and join in the conversation on our wall there too!
Congratulations to Mitchell Swass and Christina Chenier on winning the teen video contest. Their video, a combination of live action and stop-motion animation, shows the importance of libraries throughout history and the importance of a new 21st century library to the residents of Tiverton. Thanks, Mitch and Christina for helping us show that the library is a necessary part of teens’ lives! Thanks also to Abby Swass who helped to create the video.
