Tiverton Library Foundation

The Tiverton Library Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization to secure contributions to help support the operational and capital needs of the Tiverton Public Library. The Foundation is well on the way to reaching a Capital Campaign fundraising goal of $2.5 million for a new Tiverton Public Library. 

The Capital Campaign is divided into three phases:

• Organizational Phase, where campaign strategies are identified and the campaign leadership committee is formed
• Major Gift Phase, where pace-setting gifts from community residents are solicited and applications for grants from corporations and foundations are written
• Community Gift Phase, where all Tiverton residents are asked to contribute to the Campaign according to their own means.

The organizational phase is complete. The Honorary Campaign Committee and the Campaign Leadership Committee have been formed. Named Gift Opportunities have been identified. Solicitation of major gifts began in December 2010 and will continue through 2012. The community gift phase is scheduled to begin in November 2011.
